Project Overview

We have created a cloud-based information system for our client to gather market price data. The system is designed to analyse and report data, helping government officials make informed decisions. It is connected to thousands of data providers through APIs. For processing incoming data, we developed a cloud-based integration platform in a microservice architecture. The system is capable of storing data in a data warehouse, performing statistical analysis, and visualizing results online.

Background and Challenge

A major market data collection and analysis organization in Central Europe has embraced an API-first development approach as part of its digital transformation initiative. Unfortunately, their existing infrastructure was not equipped to handle this surge in API traffic, causing performance degradation. They were looking for a lightweight, cost-effective solution that could process and forward API calls from REST APIs, SOAP APIs and externally accessible services, and that met strict security and compliance requirements.
